The mission of the organization shall be to foster and maintain the spiritual, cultural, social, and communal activities towards the advancement and perpetuation of traditional Torah-true Judaism; instilling into the American Jewish Community, and to the entire United States, the understanding and appreciation of the high ethical and spiritual values of Judaism and demonstrate the compatibility of the ancient faith of Israel and Zionism, joining with it good Americanism; and to promote that taught by the Holy City of Zion in the shaping of Western Culture.
Athens. Rome. London.
These 3 cities led to the creation of the greatest experiment of government the world has ever known. Athens gave us Social Order. It started Western Civilization based on ethics. Rome gave us the Republic. With it’s separations of powers and balance of the control of political power. London, with the Magna Carta, gave us Common Law, underwhich all are treated equal.
The Holy City. Where God rests his presence. The city that taught us that all comes from Him. That the Torah is where we find answers to all our questions. That private property may be defended. That nationalism is righteous. That Torah-true ethics and morality must play a role in all that we do. And that if we keep our covenant with Him, He will keep His covenant with us.
For over twenty five years, Chovevei Zion has continued the tradition of its predecessors, by fostering and maintaining the spiritual, cultural, social, and communal activities towards the advancement and perpetuation of traditional Torah-true Judaism; instilling into the American Jewish Community, and to the entire United States, the understanding and appreciation of the high ethical and spiritual values of Judaism and demonstrate the compatibility of the ancient faith of Israel and Zionism, joining with it good Americanism; and to promote that taught by the Holy City of Zion (Jerusalem) in the shaping of Western Culture.

What They Say About Us
Chovevei Zion creates amazing short, but extremely impactful, trips to Israel, furthering the cause of Americanism and Zionism.
“For a number of years, it’s been my honor to spend time in Israel with Dr. Joe Frager annually to show our support for Israel and for a strong US-Israeli alliance. We have been able to see first hand and report across the world the destructive impact of BDS on jobs for both Jews and Arabs, and we witnessed with our own eyes the restrictions placed on Holy Sites by the Palestinian Authority in direct violation of the Oslo Accords. We have met with the highest government officials from both the US and Israel, and each trip becomes a historic step toward a stronger Israel and a better US/Israel bond.”
“We were thrilled to return to Israel and see places few Americans get to see. So many of the UN bureaucrats and global pundits do not realize the true security threats to the Israeli people or acknowledge the respect given by the government of Israel to people of many faiths. And as Christians, we acknowledge the significance of a strong Israel and a unified Jerusalem. This trip affirmed our passion for Israel!”
“Thank you so much for helping us to tell the real story of Jerusalem. I could not have done it without you. Chovevei Zion made it happen, all the way. It was an absolute honor to do.
Onward and upward my brothers!”
“My husband and I want to express how much we enjoyed our recent delegation visit to Jerusalem. We are so grateful for your invitation; we had no idea how wonderful it would be. What made it very special were the other guests, this was truly an intellectually stimulating group. We felt welcome and included, that set the stage for the wonderful sites you prepared for us. The guides were not the usual run of the mill lecturers but truly top notch academicians. We saw places that no normal Holy Land tour includes. The highlight was of course the visit with Prime Minister Netanyahu and US Ambassador David Friedman. We will remember that forever. But several other experiences were also incredible like having an active General explain the Golan Heights to us as if we were his soldiers and then to stand in an archaeological zone that is closed to the public. All I can say is WOW. This experience can not be duplicated at any price, we are truly grateful. Looking forward to joining you again in the future.”
My visit to Israel was one of the most moving and meaningful experiences of my life; it gave me a first-hand perspective of the challenges faced by the people of Israel, and renewed my commitment to fight to end the anti-Semitism faced by the Jewish community in New York City, the United States, and abroad. I thank the Chovevei Zion for giving me this opportunity to see Israel first hand, and learn about the challenges our greatest ally in the middle east faces.
